Corpo Aviation is pursuing its goal of becoming the largest regional business carrier in Québec and has obtained a new operating licence that will allow it to double the number of passengers that can travel on its fleet of Beechcraft 1900Ds, which was previously limited to 9 passengers. Issued by Transport Canada under the Canadian Aviation Regulations, the certification for a 704 commuter air service is a sign of confidence in Corpo Aviation, which will now be able to offer a configuration of up to 18 passengers aboard its Beechcraft 1900Ds.
“This certification is a historic step for Corpo Aviation and Panorama Aviation, as it will allow us to offer a much more complete range of services to our customers. At a time when the scheduled flight industry is going through a major crisis, companies and organizations that retain our charter services can benefit from a peace of mind unmatched in the market. With this certificate, we can carry a larger number of passengers.”
– Jimmy Emond, president of Corpo Aviation and Panorama Aviation
Currently operating a fleet of 8 aircraft, including 6 Pilatus PC-12s, the newest in their class on the market, and two Beechcraft 1900Ds, Corpo Aviation already has a strong presence in all regions of Québec, in the Toronto area and in Nunavut. Increasing the capacity of its aircraft will allow it to better serve its current clientele and to open new opportunities.
The company acquired its two Beechcraft 1900Ds aircraft in June 2021 to better meet the needs of the market, an acquisition that created 10 new jobs in Québec and enhanced its offering in the province, Ontario and Nunavut.
